I wrote the post which you linked. I would like a comment from you, but from a personal perspective, I really disliked the time I spent reading it. I did understand quite a few puns, but I wouldn't want to read it again and I actually just read it because of duty (as I've said in the post).
Let me correct you, however. It's spelled as Finnegans Wake. Finnegan's Wake is another thing altogether.
