pigeonholed?

"Would you say you were _____?"
How many times in our lives have we
encountered this demand to pigeonhole ourselves?
I have from my early youth regarded these demands as frightening and classification as covertly evil. [I'm not all that keen on quantification either.]
"pigeonhole = ...3. a neat category which usually fails to reflect actual complexities." Classification and quantification are, of course, the basis of most of our modern 'Science'.
